Recently, Nosutra faced a serious cyber incident. For a while, only our home page was loading, while all internal pages were inaccessible. At first, it didn’t seem like a major issue — even our hosting provider didn’t take it too seriously and simply advised us to have our web developer check it.
But soon, things took a sharp and unexpected turn.
The Attack Deepened
Out of nowhere, our Google Search Console was compromised. An unknown email managed to add itself as an admin, and on our website, three new admin accounts appeared — none of which were created by us.

To make matters worse, our site started showing up on Google as “Ultrabet,” a betting platform banned in several countries. This was alarming because Nosutra has never promoted betting links or gambling content. In fact, we’ve rejected multiple such offers in the past.
We believe this attack was a deliberate attempt to harm Nosutra’s reputation and mislead our readers.
What We’ve Done So Far
Our team has successfully restored the website and secured all admin access.
We’ve also implemented several new security plugins and tightened up our WordPress protections — including login monitoring, malware scanning, and stricter admin access controls.
While we’ve taken every step to strengthen our defenses, we want to be transparent: a future attack is still possible. Cybersecurity is an ongoing effort, and we’ll continue to monitor and improve our systems regularly.
Meanwhile, during the attack, hundreds of irrelevant backlinks were generated, linking to suspicious or unrelated sources. We’re now disavowing those bad backlinks to clean up our SEO profile. This process takes time, which may cause some delays in publishing new articles.
